Since it is spring training and baseball season is around the corner I thought on days that I am a little scatter brained or have nothing of interest to say I'll give you one of the guys I have found. If you know of one of these kinds of players with a weird background post a comment and I'll try to add them in.
Sam Agnew played from 1913-19 for the Browns, Red Sox, Senators. 560 games, .204 BA, 2 HR, 98 RBIAgnew was a Browns Regular for three seasons (1913-15) and led American League catchers in errors in two of those years because of a scatter gun arm. In 1915 he committed 39 errors

The one baseball player I'll always remember was a Cleveland Indian named Walt "No Neck" Williams. He was just a plain old nice guy. Not only did he sign stuff for me once, he actually asked me questions about what position I played and how good my team was that year.
